Though famed for its historical connection to Kaiser Wilhelm II, it's the breathtaking views that draw visitors to Kaiser's Throne. This rocky vantage point features an observation platform where permanent binoculars let you take in the sights. Deep blue skies meet the lush valley below, dotted by colorful country houses. In the distance, the horizon extends to Italy and Albania. A scenic cobblestone walk past yellow country houses will bring to you to the top of the hill. Be aware, however, that the walk up is quite steep, so search out a shuttle bus if that poses a problem. Note the crowds tend to come at sunrise or sunset.     Great views across Corfu, well worth the walk up from Pelekas village (or take a car / taxi). It is possible to buy some snacks in Pelekas village to take up to the viewpoint or have drinks / food...
