Plaka Beach, Elounda

A great beach, clean and tidy, deckchairs for the general public, free parking nearby, clear and clean water, the beach is lined with pebbles. A highly recommended place especially for the beautiful view there.

Plaka is a wonderful beach located opposite of picturesque Spinalonga. You may swim at crystal clear waters and have a tasty seafood lunch or dinner viewing the island. But make sure you go there on not a windy day. The wind is so strong and comes with gusts that it may ruin your day. That's why it missed my 5th star.

Wonderful beach with very clear water and magnificent view to the island.there are trees around for shade during summer and alot parking space. The best time to visit and enjoy the view is winter time because at summer time is very popular.

Super windy narrow beach with stones and pebbles everywhere. The view is nice for photos. Parking is surprising easy and free. We stayed only 15 minutes for photo shooting and continued driving towards another beach.

Very cool and clear water. There are big white & light gray pebbles at the beach. You can rent a set of sunbeds or you may use your portable chair. Wonderful views to Spinalonga, atm, tavernas, mini market, free car parking area. The sea deeps quickly.
