If you want to escape the crowded beach of Rethymno, this beach is what you need. It is quiet, with very clean water, with amenities and lots of tavernas across the road with delicious food.

Beautiful beach. Stunning, kinda scary drive thru mountains and down to beach level. Water is calm and stays relatively shallow. Lots of chairs and umbrellas to be rented. Naturalist area towards remote end.

2022 and it's still natural with all the beauty of the south Crete beaches!!! Best choice for relaxing holidays with unique views and all the comforts!!!

Super drive from Rethymno through winding roads to a lovely quiet beach. Water was sublime and don’t mind paying €8 for all day hire of umbrella and beach chairs, particularly when they hand deliver drinks to your chair. Worth a visit. :)
