Small bit very well organized, very good descriptions in Greek and English, very fair price (3€) and today (and every Saturday in September) was free entrance 👍🏼

A beautiful little museum with a wealth of information about everyday life. The cooking implements are fascinating and there is a very great variety of ceramic pots, including sarcophagi. An absolute must. We visited late one day and went back for more the next. Fascinating and the staff was friendly and helpful.

One of the few museums in the east side of Crete with the amazing Kouros as the main attraction and findings from everyday life of the Minoans. Even for that is worth a visit.

Light, airy museum with selected quality finds from many archaeological sites across the area. Well presented with informative signs on each case. Real bargain at only €2. Visited before the storm (15/10/22) hit the area so may be closed for moping up. Suggest checking before making a special journey.

A small but great museum. Not only fans of the Minoens but also children will enjoy lingering through the four rooms full of huge pithoi and well-preserved larnax. The section showing the Minoen cooking methods is quite interesting. And you will learn all about the mysterious ivory kouros found in Roussolakkos !
