  • A disappointment. Don’t get me wrong - it is a holy place and the church is beautiful and there are some impressive and miraculous icons. But the place isn’t orgazised well and the shop is so much...

  • Amazing monastery; beautiful view, tremendous historic-feeling as being 3/4 centuries before… extremely clean, in order and tourist friendly (free visit in the low season, april-may). 100% recommended.
  • Peaceful historical place with many orthodox icons and etchings. Car park on site as well as outside. Entrance charge €4 There is a cafe with good coffee within the complex.
  • Very nice and unique monastery. Extremely quiet and clean. Didn't have the chance to see the museum inside the monastery which is closed during Sundays.
  • very nice and relaxing place. it is a museum so you need to pay entrance fee, this was surprising for me as well. the history and the books are in good condition. if you stop here before going to Vai beach, then it's perfect. it's just in a way to the beach.
  • Unfortunately it was shut when I arrived (despite being within the opening hours advertised on the website) but the outside is beautiful and in a lovely spot.
