Paralia Chionas, Sitia

It is a beautiful beach that can be reached in a short 30 minutes by walking from the center of Palekastro. It is also easily accessible by car and there is a parking lot just behind the beach. This is a quieter place as Vai Beach is more popular in the area. If you are looking for calmness, you can choose this beach. I recommend that you do not expect too much. There are restaurants, changing cabins and toilets on the beach. If you walk to the beach from Palekastro, I think you will enjoy the road surrounded by olive trees. Also on the road to the beach is Palaikastro Minoan Town. I recommend you to visit this archeological point where the wonderful Minoan statuette named Palaikastro Kouros was unearthed.

very beautiful beach. I like this place. its calmness, the people's behavior, I would suggest it to everyone, visit the city and its beaches are still untouched (virgin) you can call it. you will be amazed and you won't want to leave, I assure you of that.
