Mario's Cave and Turtle Boat Trips, Vasilikos

What an amazing experience we've had! This was by far our favourite day on the island. If you're ever in Zakynthos, this trip is a must! The boat wasn't over crowded as most of the other excursions here are. Mario and Nico have a huge knowledge about the island and the marine life. Lots of swim stops in amazing locations. Highly recommend, thank you so much!

Absolutely blown away by this experience. Johanna who we booked with was lovely and Mario collected us from our hotel himself the next day. It was an amazing day trip where we went snorkeling, swam into a natural light cave, had beautiful swim stops at our leisure and saw and learnt about a range of sea life (including turtles, urchins, octopus, and some things we'd never seen before). We would highly recommend this experience to everyone!

We had a very great day on this trip! The only thing that was on the webpage but was not there is the glassbottom ship, as Mario has a new boat. Otherwise we received what was offered, and even more :) We did not have a rented car but we were picked up at our hotel in Vassilikos by Mario, and he drove us back at the end as well :) We saw turtles, even in September (out of the main nesting season), swam in different beaches. Mario told interesting things about the places and the marine life, he went around to talk a little bit with everyone on the boat. There was an opportunity to use their snorkeling equipment for free. It was a very professional service, thank you for this lovely day!

Excelent man doing The Excellentest sea cruise of Zakyntos,pointing the best places of wondersea of Zakyntos charging of the signification the sea over and under the wather...offering the exploration of the caves with his own scuba doo equipment....fishing the living beings under thev wather to introduce to as the Zakyntos underwaterlife.....passionate and with patience he search carefully the turtle and waited until they came on surface so everyone to be able to have picture with,times that others captians of others cruiser boats,loosed the patience and gone a dispect of their costumers....I felt like with "Sea Dundee"in the "WatherWonderland"....Captain Mario is The Best Captain wich can be found in Zakyntos,and do not suport comparation with the others cruiser boats captains....My best day of my life on the sea!!!Thank you for everything Captain Mario!!!....and for the ride in car from and to the hotel for the cruise!!!Amazing!Mariano ti saluta!

We had an amazing day with Mario and the crew among the most beautiful and less touristic places in Zakynthos, we learned about what mediterranean flora and fauna has to offer with the crew showing them to us. Great choice for a boat trip and don’t forget your snorkeling gear!
