Vathy Beach, Agios Nikolaos

It really is a hidden paradise. The water is crystal clear, the view and beach are completely spectacular. But.. the road there by car is an ordeal of itself. 40min of breaking your car so you better go there prepared and not with some low little beetle, find the best off-road car you can.

Beautiful hidden beach to go, you need enough supplies like water and food because there’s nothing. A couple of trees with some nice stone shelters for some shadow. Definitely 10/10 ;)

The beach is awesome. You need to take enough water and food because there ain’t no shops around. But beware: you need a jeep to get there. It’s an off road track that is about 45min.

Not worth your time! The way there is very cumbersome, 45 min for 7 km and there’s no shade.

Great beach. Getting there is like running a small rally. I managed to drive a front wheel drive fiat there somehow but I guess people generally aren't that fearless. Watch out for a 50m downhill straight Google suggest you to take that can be easily circumvented turning left. That's the most likely place to strand a vehicle. Once in the beach there are rolling stones when entering the sea creating a tall step. The rest is fine sand. Quite a heavenly place. In the morning we were the only ones there. Two couples and a local arrived mid day before we went trekking somewhere else. Trees provide shade.
