  • Worth a stop by if you are in the neighbourhood. Nothing too out of this place though. The ancient tree is quite fascinating too

  • It’s wasn’t open when we visited last week which means mid May/ Even though it’s was supposed to be open !
  • This small museum is well worth the visit. The building dates back from the 18th century and has a very special atmosphere. Its folklore collection is not big but gives a full idea about oil production and Cretan people's daily life in the old times. Attention, plan your visit one day earlier (check "visit info" at the website for contact details) to make sure the museum will be open by the time you arrive. Vatolakkos is one of the most beautiful villages in Chania, so take some time to walk around and don't miss the opportunity to taste some of the delicious small plates of "Kapilio". Definitely one of the most pleasant and authentic experiences in Chania!
  • Closed. No visible signs etc explaining why, or when its open again.
  • Excellent effort. Well done
  • It was shut
