  • Museum is fine and a good idea. The tunnels seem to have quite a bit of mildew, and better translations for the guide books would be nice but is not critical. This is maybe better suited for a rainy....  more

  • Send those akrotiri village museum designers over here to get some tips! I was skeptical but pleasantly surprised. Well presented with audio tour, signs, murals, artifacts, history, audio, video...

  • Great museum for understanding history and their process of production. Audio guides are included in the ticket price, and lots informations in English next to each exhibition hall is really helpful. There are lots ancient images and machines around and they look stunning. I wouldn’t say it’s great for young children. There are 5 different packages to choose and the only difference is the wine you taste at the end.
  • Very informative audio guide and excellent wines to taste after the self guided tour. Well informed staff that seem to know their wines, I’m not a wine expert, but they were good! They also sell small bottles for gifts in the shape of the island, which I thought was a neat touch. Overall a great experience.
  • Must visit in Santorini! Audio guide in 21 different languages with a lot of explanations for the art of making wine. There are available different packages for the museum which involve a number of wines you will taste at the end of the tour. The bronze package was the one chosen by me and the cost was 15euros. This includes also the taste of 4 wines. The last entrance is one hour before closing.
  • The history of wine making has been very beautifully explained in this Museum. For 15€ one gets museum entry and 3 wine tastings as well. It was worth the price and Museum has very interesting history of the Santorini wines as well. Totally recommend it!
  • Really enjoyed our visit after a steady walk from Kamari this morning. Really interesting to read about the island history and vineyards. We sampled four wines and purchased some to take home before walking back past the airport after a lunch nearby( to soak up the wine consumed).
