The Brauron Archaeological Museum is a museum in Markopoulo Mesogeias, Greece. Much of the collection is derived from excavations in the Sanctuary of Artemis at Brauron. Of note is a statue representing a small girl, a so-called "bear" (arktoi) (Medvedicka).

  • Before visiting the archeological site I advise to visit the museum first. This museum looks to be recently modernized. The artifacts are displayed nicely. They have a great collection.

  • Small but very interesting museum where you can spend a surprising amount of time! It has plenty of parking space and is very cheap. Worth visiting together with the temple of Artemis if you are in...

  • The accompanying museum to the archaeological site, with finds from it and the area. Displayed well in English and is worth visiting both. They do have a lift for disabled access and I recall it being level.
  • Excellent museum fantastic potery and statues in excellent condition a must see as well with the archaeological site of Artemis temple. It's worth visiting and travelling there. The area around the museum is a natural reserve protected, beautiful area.
  • One of the best museums in Attica. The babies and the altar is a must see. Artemis the goddess of nature , children and healing and death.
  • A quiet museum and temple dedicated to the Goddess Artemis. The only downside was being stalked by the museum curators as you walked through the rooms.
  • Small and interesting indoor and outdoor museums, beautiful location and views , very close to Artemis town and the Athens airport.
