Designed to be formidable, Fort Nuestra Senora de la Soledad is a Spanish colonial fortification looking out over Umatac Bay. Built between 1802 and 1819, the fort became defunct shortly after the outbreak of the Mexican War of Independence. You can admire the cannons and crumbling walls as you explore the site, which is now protected as part of a national park. Drive around Guam and you will find so many tourist spots. We found this place accidentally and explore it, there is a clean restroom in the area. May 2019

Not well maintained but still a site to see for sure! My favorite part was seeing Edwin, aka the coconut man. He will set up right up with fresh coconut and mango. Very entertaining. Saw him when I first got to the island 3 months ago. Very personable!

A quick place to check out if you’re ever down in southern guam There’s a round about to park there and walk to where the site is Beautiful panoramic view from up where you stand and overlooking Fouha Bay
-
GORGEOUS overlook! We even got to see dolphins playing in the surf! My only complaint is that the bathrooms are locked and there are no trash cans around.

Historical Place... One of the many places in Guam for tourist to visit... Enjoy the majestic scenery...

The park was well maintained and cleaned, and provides great elevated views of the Bay of Umatac! Perfect weather adds to how great the view and visit was!
