    Spent the day walking around Georgetown. This is located near the Cricket Grounds which is also a recommended visit.

    This site is very beautiful and appealing, however the atmosphere and greens around it needs to be improved. It was built in a garden like style however there should be more trees planted to provide shade to visitors, there should be rocks and stone spread around the walking path so has to hold the soil together when it rains. Sufficient lightning needs to be there as well

    Also referred to as cuffy's monument . Cuffy was a slave who lead the Berbice rebellion. Monument also features a water fall fountain.

    Splendid place for a visit if you've never been to Guyana before. If you are a local you can visit here for a stroll and place to sit and enjoy the afternoon while your little ones play in the field behind the monument.
