Guyana National Library, Georgetown

Lots of history can be found here dating back several decades. Rich with knowledge. There's a great air conditioned computer room as well to work and relax. Good storage lockers to keep your bag safe, you get a key and it is for free. Promotes a lot of learning and cool scientific projects being done by the kids at schools over here

Guyana National Library is a great place to research information. The library has a wide variety of books and magazines to choose from. The staff is knowledgeable and can help you find what you are looking for. The library is easy to find and the parking is easy to find. Overall, I would highly recommend visiting Guyana National Library!

I had plenty of good memories at the library got in trouble a lot here too! I used to spend my afternoon here with friends from school. I used to go to Sacred Hearts Primary School before it burned down on Christmas a long time ago. I think was the best place to spend my time as a child k hope other children benefit from it and doing reading circles. I’ll never forget! Please take care of it!

Very nice library with lots of great history. Would be excellent if it received more funding to digitize the artifacts. A lot of Guyana’s history will be lost as the paperworks deteriorate.

A cool quiet place in a historic building. I spent time upstairs in looking at their newspaper collection. Bring your mask. Lockers available downstairs for your bag.
