Used as a public execution area during the 19th century, Promenade Gardens today has a very different function. Take a peaceful stroll through this urban green space, where you can relax, read, and enjoy the surrounding flowers and trees. Paths wind past tall trees, lush plants, and colorful blooms. Look for the Mahatma Gandhi monument, as well as a bandstand--the oldest of three in the city. Very scenic. An escape from the city. Rather busy when I was here. A good place to visit alone or as a couple. Reviewed by Miles Archer of Boca Raton, USA

Very beautiful!! Peaceful and private. Especially if you need a moment to yourself. Amazing place to do photoshoots. However, beware of thieves. I was robbed once. But all in all it is a beautiful place

The Gardens isn't always well manicured, but it is a cozy spot, don't take out your cameras too quickly, though; approval must be sought from security first.

One of my favorite places to relax and chill. I used to go here to write music and make beats, I used to go here with dates to spend time also. However there's a few reasons why I stopped going here. 1. Thieves, thieves usually walk about the place scouting for persons to rob. They would rob you when you leave the park, or some even rob you inside the park if there's not alot of other persons there. I was on a date and I saw a guy watching me and the girl from in between a plant. I messaged a cab and got away from there. Another time a guy walked past me and looked at all my belongings and walked away, I got away before anything happened. 2. Poor management, the drains of this park needs to be fixed as there's alot of areas that's usually mushy and disgusting to look at. The public restrooms are a mess also. 3. Needed security, there's security at the gates yes, but there's a need for either cameras or patrols to go through here because of thieves that patrol the park from time to time.

Beautiful garden, exotic and tropical plants and flowers. you can spend nice moments.

It's a very nice garden to the public. Young couples usually go here and relax as it have benches to sit and enjoy the clean environment surrounded by all those beautiful flowers and plants. Don't take my nice comment for granted as I did give it three stars. I've seen people robbed here before. So always be focused and vigilant. It's not an everyday something but it do happen.
