  • Worldwide unique collection of the Baia Mare painting school''s most important paintings and their leader's masterpieces. Partly donated by a collector couple who collects this impressionist éra for 50 years
  • cool place
  • Regional museum of Kiskunhalas. With permanent and temporary exhibitions of visual arts, ethnography, archeology and history. The most exciting is the Thorma and Bay collection. Anyone who likes the artists of the Nagybánya painting school should see both exhibitions. The museum also has a cloakroom, a small museum shop, and a coffee corner. Young museum visitors were also thought of with the games and tasks placed in the exhibitions. Parking on the street of the museum can be problematic, so it is worth parking your car a little further away and approaching the museum on foot.
  • The museum is in a very beautiful built environment, the collection of János Thorma and Nagybánya painters is unparalleled! We really liked the temporary exhibition and the ethnographic and local history collection! There are helpful, professional and very nice staff at the reception!
  • The staff of the museum are very kind and helpful. And the exhibition speaks for itself. It is possible to park in front of the museum, but if there is no space, there are plenty of parking lots a little further away.
