We could not visit the museum, too late, but a walk in the surrounding park, which is free and available outside museum hours. Very attractive castle and fortifications.

A nice castle at the top oin the middle of Sarospatak. A great view of Bodrog and the city from the top. The entrence is a bit too expensive, but you can see a lot for free as well.

Spectacular castle with museum but the park gates closed at 6 pm in summer.

The castle is very well maintained. At the ticket office, where you buy your ticket, you will find a list of exhibitions for which you have to pay extra. There is an extra charge of 2500 HUF for photography. Why are the tower and several rooms only open to groups? In any case, the park and the outside area are magnificent, including the views.
