  • Really beautiful and accessible falls, the chance for a longer walk if you wanted and some fun statues to enjoy as well as some authentic folklore tales. Not far off the main road and with toilet...

  • The easiest way to access this waterfall is to follow the 4x4 track and once you reach the end of it, you can descend through the walking track. There is another walking track originating from the 4x4 one, but it's very narrow and dangerous at one place and the fall is quite massive.
  • Really fun hike and landscape to the waterfall. Only a 4x4 could make the drive so we just parked on the road and made a hike out of it. No one was around and the landscape was stunning. Not far out of the city either!
  • If you want a great waterfall with no one around, choose one that requires some off roading (maybe we shouldn't have done it in the Hyundai, but we survived), a hike and then a scramble to get down to the bottom. We did it with a 5 and 7 year old, and there were a few precarious bits, but not too intense to handle. The upper and lower river beds are both beautiful and the falls are amazing. If you want to cross, it's probably easier up top where the rocky shoals are really shallow. This one visit turned a pretty tough day around. Highly recommended, as long as you don't mind a bit of sweat.
  • We reached this location on horseback. Not a huge waterfall but interesting if you're nearby!
  • Please note you will need a 4 wheel Drive vehicle with some amount of ground clearance to get to the falls. There is a gravel rd but it has many large rocks on and around it. Our VW Golf was not up to the task.
