Auroras Iceland is a Northern Lights Exhibition of handpicked photos of the Northern Lights, on-screen timelapse and slideshow. A special attention is paid to the world famous NASA-photo. There is a selfie point where guests can snap a picture of themselves with a Northern Lights background. We display information about the Northern Lights and tell guests how to best capture them on camera. The photographer´s Jónína and Jóhanna´s CV´s are there as well. We offer a range of souvenirs. The House is and ideal stopover for groups travelling in Fjarðabyggð.

This place was not open when we visited in July 2021. The building is still there, however. If it does open, it is. conveniently located right next to the Fosshotel and the French Museum.

Nice pictures, but no scientific explanation whatsoever, just a gallery showing nice photos taken by the ladies that run a shop nearby and this museum, from what I understood. We stopped here for too long and in my opinion we could have completely skipped this place.
