Secret Lagoon - Gamla Laugin, Fludir

This is the oldest hot spring pool in the whole Iceland. Costs around 20-25 dollars per person. Nice and clean, not too crowded. We took a few free light sticks and just floated in the hot water. Very relaxing. There is also a small area around with a baby geyser

Stunning! Experience was magical! Swim shoes not necessary as pool floor has small smooth pebbles! Soothing and relaxing atmosphere. Nice walk surrounding pond where you can see many small hot springs.

Very nice, one big pool only, hot bath. It feels a bit more authentic than others man-managed baths. You can walk around to see the real little "geysers", from which the heat is drawn from.

On Golden circle route. Good price if you just want to experience a thermal lagoon without a full package. Children free. Booked online. Free car park. Shown brief video in English explaining safety and showering before entry. Free lockers. Clean toilets, showers and changing rooms. Lagoon is warm with some areas nearer geyser even warmer. About 4 foot deep everywhere. Loads of sponge woggles to help you float and relax. Small bar selling cans etc to take into lagoon or have in enclosed cafe. Definitely recommend, especially if you have children and don't want included treatments etc.

Absolutely lovely place. Nice coffee and beverages that you can enjoy inside. Very comfy, but in the same time very modern furnitured Secret Lagoon,where you can just enjoy relax and explore. I preferred this over blue lagoon, maybe next time. Water was very warm 36-40°C. You can float on it with the long sponge. Enjoy a glass of wine, beer or champagne by the pool. Gorgeous place and something you don't do every day. Very clean dressing area. There is a spinner for your wet bathing suit and bags to put it in,which was a very nice thing to see and experience that they are prepared for everything and make your experience a pamper.
