  • Beautiful waterfall. The path ends a little bit before the base of the waterfall but you're still going to get a magnificent view on it. The hike up there is about 45min, easy path, you will walk past another gorgeous waterfall on the way up, free parking, toilets in the beginning of the hike.
  • Really cool waterfall! I wish we had been able to get closer but due to high water levels part of the path was blocked. It was SUPER windy when we got to the top so be mindful. The trail can get fairly steep, the longest steep stretch is at the beginning so if you can navigate that you should be okay. Without the last part of the trail, it only took us about an hour total. WC/ bathroom at base of trail.
  • Loved this hike! Took us almost 3 hours go get to the bottom of the fall and back. We went clockwise and there are info boards on the way up. We were lucky that path to the base of the fall is accessible. Truely amazing! The way down is less structured (but i think it's work in progress), follow the wooden stick with yellow mark.
  • This place is amazing. The hike is tall and steep, but worth it if you take some breaks. The red layers in the rock really come out in the sun, second tallest waterfall in Iceland and worth every second of it. Absolutely stunning
  • Nice waterfall. The hike up is a fairly intense climb, around 750 ft ascent. 2.75 miles round trip, took about 1:15 minus stops. The path itself is easy, just a lot of uphill walking
