The geyser erupting is amazing. It erupts about every few minutes. It’s a pretty short walk from the parking lot which is at the Geysir Center. There is also a little geyser on the path to the big one but the smaller one is not active.

I think you should visit it, but we had seen other geysers before, so it wasn't probably as fascinating to us as to first-timers. Not much to see apart the geyser, but there's a nice cafeteria nearby and clean toilets.

No camera can capture the real beauty of Iceland. Geysir is one of the many natural phenomenon in Iceland and being at that place feels like you are in a different planet. A must visit.
-
The park has some gorgeous overlooks that were a bit of a hike up but the geysers are very accessible. Be sure to pack shoes that can get wet and muddy as the trails get very messy in rain. Make a point to hike up to the views if you are able. The restaurant and cafe were wonderful. It was a little hard to figure out how to order but the soups and pizza were wonderful at the cafe. Phenomenal ambiance.

It is our second time in Iceland this year. In January we visited this place and there was a terrible snowfall, we could not see the natural spectacle of the Gaysers. Today we are here in Summer and it has been a spectacle, so much so that snow fell😋😁. incredible nature
