  • Very nice shop to buy original Island wool. We bought there "kilos" of very good quality wool for knitting sweaters by ourself. Highly recommended small shop, very nice and friendly staff.
  • This shop by far was the least expensive of the 4 shops I have been to for sweaters here in Iceland. Definitely try on the sweater before you buy it because different knitters have different ideas on sizes. All very beautiful, I had a real hard time choosing.
  • There are lots of fake, China or Latvia-made woolen products sold in tourist shops across Iceland. This place is NOT one of them! If you want genuine Icelandic craft, made locally and support a family business rather than the big, generic tourist-shop empire, buy your Icelandic woolen products at Litla Lopasjoppan instead. You can also buy Icelandic wool to knit with yourself.
  • A gem of a shop, definitely worth a visit. Berglind and her associates have made some beautiful pieces that are sold for very fair prices. Berglind was very helpful figuring out sizing for a gift purchase, and she made it clear that she stood behind her crafted work. For knitters, she also sells high-quality Icelandic wool for your own use.
  • Berglind, her young women in the shop along with her family, manufactures some truly amazing and original Icelandic wool products. Definitely a positive experience and a shop worth visiting. A family run business I for sure will maintain in contact with.
