  • Don't miss this place if in Iceland. You will thank me after following my advice. It feels like you're on a movie set.

  • The lagoon is worth seeing but there were no "diamonds" on the beach in February. So the beach itself was a bit of disappointment.

  • One of the most unique beach with black sand and icebergs of all sizes and shapes ,the effect it brings certainly looks like diamonds…. The waves were strong and it tossed icebergs back and forth … just a few minutes walk from the parking , the information display at the start was excellent
  • We came on a very misty day and didn’t expect much. But the view and ice shapes were simply stunning. Some ice appears to be blue (coz if higher density and no air bubbles inside) which makes it look so incredibly unique especially on the contrast with the black sand
  • Unique place in the world where we see the hearts of our ex-partners being shipped across the world and then melt into nothing on the beach or sea. I like to wave them goodbye as they pass. Free parking, some food available and many viewpoints.
  • Black sand beach with ice bergs littered on it for as far as the eye can see. It was amazing to see how far the icebergs had spread down the beach. There can be a lot of people present. There is also a photo exhibition featuring glaciers and volcanoes.
  • I drove for 5 hours back and forward but totally worth the experience seeing such amazing Wonder. I visited start of june so fair amount of ice but I guess it is much better in the winter
