  • Fantastic experience not to be missed! We had a wonderful few hours getting to know the dogs and experience an exhilarating dog-sled ride! We took a ride on dry land which was loads of fun. The dogs were adorable and very eager to run! Even though I'm not a huge dog person I had an unforgettable time and it was one of my favourite experiences in Iceland!
  • Wow. What can I say. This was one of the best experiences my wife and I have ever had. Our hosts, owners and dog parents were simply wonderful, friendly and really loved their jobs. We had been contacted in advance by the owner to confirm our booking and transfer, so we knew where to be and when. The arranged transfer from Reykjavik was on time and comfortable. Arriving we were greeted, given warm suits and a short explanation of what to do and what we should expect. Then it was over to meet the dogs, we had around half an hour to meet the pack of about 32 dogs- brilliant, what lovely dogs they all are with such different personalities. Then it was onto the sled, we were led by Klara the owner. Off we went into the snow and beauty of the Icelandic countryside, drawn by our pack of 8 amazing dogs. Klara was really chatty and gave us lots of information and stories while out on the sled. She loves her dogs soooo much and you can see they love her back. The time on the sled was about 45mins and well worth every penny. Back to the start and time to spend time thanking the dogs for their work before heading back on the minibus. We want to thank the dogs (and the humans) for the highlight of our trip to Iceland. WE WILL BE BACK. Lawrence and Katie - UK (11th January 2023)
  • One of my top experiences in Iceland, even on dry land. The dogs were super friendly- Klara and her crew were very welcoming, giving us useful facts about Iceland and dogs. Would definitely recommend everybody who visits Iceland to go dogsledding, even if you are not a dog lover - this is a unique experience that you can only have in Iceland :)
  • If you get the opportunity to do this, then you should! A family run business with the best dogs. The dogs are all clearly really happy and well looked after. We got so much cuddle time with the dogs and the ride itself was really fun and personable.
  • This was one of the best experiences during our trip to Iceland. Klara was wonderful and the whole crew really made sure that everyone had time with the dogs and had a chance to mush. Our trip was during the winter and the location was moved from the farm to just out of Reykjavik. While we missed out on seeing all the dogs we got to sled on snow on the highland plains with the snow capped mountains in the distance. If doing this in the winter dress warmly (but they do provide additional warm suits, gloves, and glasses).
