  • You must make a reservation. Don’t complain if you don’t plan your time ahead! We had a reservation for 2pm for 4 people after we visited the golden circle. We waited maybe 5 mins for the table to be ready. You park at the front and walk to the back where the greenhouses are along the horse yard and are greeted and you can wait in the small bar area. For such a popular destination they have a smaller dining area and bar area, but this makes it a bit more intimate! Your table is right next to the tomato vines and the staff are friendly explaining the history and information as well as the menu with their recommendations. We ordered the soup and the additional skewers to add to it, which I recommend otherwise it’s just soup. The bread is the real star here. Variety, fresh and a person there cutting it up regularly. With fresh butter it was amazing! The cocktails were a bit of a waste as weren’t very strong, but nice for the whole experience. We didn’t feel rushed and could wander around after our meal and take photos too. It’s a great whole experience, not the most amazing meal I’ve had but definitely a fun time as a whole event with your friends when in Iceland!
  • Visited May 2022. Superb service. Innovative dishes with tomato - tomato cheesecake and tomato beer! Besides these there was tomato soup with unlimited bread which was fresh and amazing. Lots of variety. Butter was great as well. As you dine, you'll be seated right in the greenhouse where the tomato vines are growing. Unique and awesome experience!
  • It was a fun and unique experience however my friend and I thought the food was very bland. We had the pizza and ravioli. I definitely recommend stopping here while driving the golden circle (after seeing the geysers), you can grab a cup of tomato soup and a loaf of bread at the super cute bar area.
  • So amazing! We loved the atmosphere as well as the food. My husband and I don't care for tomatoe soup but theirs I could eat everyday! So very good- we will be returning on our next trip!
  • This is the greenhouse responsible for most of Iceland's tomatoes. You can have a tour of it, the guide will tell you all about the place, and you can get fresh tomato soup, crusty bread and a bloody Mary while there, which are excellent.
