  • Educational and interactive fun for both adults and kids. The exhibit animals looked real. The kids enjoyed learning about the Icelandic whale species. The place's ambience is spot on!

  • Take the guided tour, it was full of information, not complicated, and most interesting. The full scale whales provide a good sense what you see a small part of on a whale watching tour. A plus experience!!
  • I stopped in here because the friend I was with really wanted to see it, she loves whales. I actually had a great time. Seeing the model whales in actual size was wonderful. The video that was shown in the side room was sad, but important. I wouldn't say it's necessary to stop here, but I did enjoy it.
  • Lots of scale models of various whales, with detailed information about each one. There's also a 40-odd minute audio guide that you can download and listen to as you walk around the exhibits. There are also 3 videos playing, 1 on orcas which is about 18 minutes, 1 on an encounter with a sperm whale at 5 minutes and a much longer video in the big room at the back highlighting the problems marine animals encounter through our use of radar. We'll worth watching
  • Had a great time in a large group. They do a guided tour twice a day (at the time of writing 11:00 and 15:30), I highly recommend ensuring you a arrive at a time when the tour is happening as it adds a lot to the cost of entry. The guide was great, took a lot questions and you could tell they were very passionate about the topic. There is an hour long movie to also watch once an hour. An interactive display and many life size models. The cafe let us bring a coffee into the movie. You can stay as long as you like.
  • Surprisingly interesting and engaging displays and models. Perfect on a rainy day for an hour or two. The Orca play structure also kept our 5yo daughter busy for a good 20 minutes.
