Pitstops with horses? 🐎. This is a bit of a surprising stop that I really enjoyed. It was a middle point between Skaftafell and Reykjavik for us to get lunch. We stopped here twice (once on the way out, and once on the way back). There's two cafes ☕️ separated by a giant store filled with souvenirs ranging from dried fish 🐟 and lava salt 🧂 to snow jackets and wool blankets. Walk to the back to get to the larger cafe with more food options. Our first time, the lamb soup wasn't available but on the way back it was! It was delicious and would highly recommend. 🐑 After lunch, we did some shopping. I bought myself a new jacket since my ski jacket 🎿 just wasn't doing well against the Icelandic winter weather. ❄️ Then as we walked out to the bus, we saw this horseback riding tour! 🐎 We didn't get a chance to ride them, but I couldn't pass up not taking a photo. Ah yes we also saw a rainbow too 🤣🌈

This is a wonderful place. Have Icelandic gift items and with small gifts they give a wollen bag free. When ever we went to VIK this store was our must stop

Great shop, lots of choice of high quality gear, the prices seem honest as well. I bought a pair of hiking shoes and they are perfect!

Great shop, plenty of parking also cafe and supermarket in the same area. There are cloth wear for all weather and also souvenir for those back home. All purchase over 6,000ISK can do the tax free of tourists. The outlet section is on the second floor.

It was very good spot for those who were looking for winter clothes as well as some snack’s.
