  • Maharashtra Sindhudurg distt. Amboli waterfall is situated in the Shayadri hills of western ghats. This impressive fall is 350 km from Pune and 180 from Kolhapur. Trend of waterfall is like Dudhsagar waterfall. Amboli is at height of almost 750 mtr over the sea level. Here you can have a exciting view of waterfall from the front. The tall beautiful waterfall is surrounded by hills, forest and natural landscape. Picturesque view of waterfall add charm to this place particularly in monsoon. One can also visit the Mahadevgarh point at 3.5 km and Kawalesaad point just 10 km away known for its scenic beauty as well . At a distance of 50 mtr many of food, snacks and tea stalls are there. One side car parking is allowed ensuring no hindrance to other passing vehicles. Awesome picnic spot to enjoy fullest with near and dear ones !!!

  • Beautiful waterfall but to enjoy it; visit it on a working day. It's havoc on a holiday and at weekend
  • The water fall was huge and has severe flow or current. There's stairs going next to the water fall for better views. We were crossing by morning 9.00am and was less crowded. Later on in the day it's very crowded causing traffic jam as it's a very narrow ghat. Also People walking carelessly on the ghat road, can see some hooligans too. Be careful and most of all be safe. Thanks🙏🌹.
  • Amboli Waterfalls is must to stop place if you are a visit to Amboli or to goa via Nipani. Its an impressive waterfall with more than 350 feet height. Amboli is around 500km distance from Mumbai and 350km from Pune. Best time to visit is during Monsoon or just after Monsoon. Roads to Amboli used to be not-so-good during/after monsoon, private vehicles can easily reach Amboli via Nipani from Mumbai/ Pune. Stay options in Amboli are limited hence it is always better to pre-book your stay if you are planning to stay at Amboli to visit Amboli waterfall and nearby area. The waterfalls will be usually crowded during day time & on weekends (monsoon/ just after monsoon) when the water is plenty on the falls.
