Bamboo Garden, Amravati

As the name suggest the main theme of this garden is Bamboo. Most of the plantation is bamboo, however there are other trees and plants too. This garden is spread over a large area and you must be ready to walk if you want to enjoy it. The more you walk the more you will explore. Cactus garden is one of the highlights where you will see quite a few varieties of cactus plants. And if it is a blooming season you will be elated to see the beauty coming out of thrones, There is an eatery however I recommend you carry your food along with you so that you can sit and enjoy your food on lawn. BUT PLEASE DON'T LITTER! There are some activities for kids and adults too. Kids bring limitations to exploration so when you come with kid I suggest you spend time only on activities meant for them. In summer, it is better to visit this garden only in evening. It is a nice 6 hours picnic.

A richly cultured park with more than 80 varities of bamboos from across the country. It even has the only cactus park of the country. Kudos to Salimji, who put his life and soul into it to develop it as a haven for humans and animals alike. I just hope that the people keep it that way.

GOOD FOR FAMILY OUTINGS & PICNIC ! Well if your nature lover and u want to know about various species off Bamboo then this is heaven for you. Also there is big catus garden with various species. Also good place for photography. It's definitely one time visit .

Overall it is a very beautiful place in terms of greenery and bamboo varieties, play area. There should be some shops inside for snacking, juices etc
