Candolim Beach, Goa

Candolim....one of the best beaches to go for water sports and capture sunsets. Water flow here is pretty good as compared to other beaches ..so please be cautious. There are so many things to do here: water sports, hair braiding, oil massages, getting temporary tattoos etc. While entering Candolim, you get a wide variety of options from picking and choosing your beach wear( in case you weren't prepared already) to buying gifts for friends and family. There are a lot of restaurants in the way to Candolim. Once you reach just park your two wheeler/ four wheeler (parking fee : Rs. 50/- for two wheeler;Rs.100/- for four wheeler) and enjoy the beach thrill. You will have to pay for shacks (Rs 100/- per hour) and enjoy the food.

Candolim beach is one of the most famous and crowded beach. You can enjoy the water sports here. Boating, dolphin seeing, jet ski, pera ceiling, banana riding in water sports. Sea facing restaurants available here where you can enjoy food with music and looking sea waves. Very relaxing and enjoyable place. You can enjoy with family and friends.

Been to many beaches in many places across the country but Candolim beach is definitely unique and different from all the others. The shacks are amazing, the atmosphere is electric, the ambience is unmatched. With gentle sea breeze, the sound of waves crashing and the taste of fresh seafood is something that should be experienced by everyone who visit Goa.

Pros: 1) Less crowded beach 2) Best place to view sunset. There is a sunset point where you can enjoy the evening sunset. 3) Must place for photography 4) Very silent beach. If you love silence, then explore this beach. Cons: 1) Cab facility unavailable easily. If you don't have your local conveyance, then it will be really difficult to get a cab. For getting a local cab, you need to pay much extra amount.

Candolim beach is where you go if you want lot of beach shacks, loud music and crowds. The beach shacks put out candlelit tables for you to enjoy a romantic dinner. We had dinner here & enjoyed the ambience. Its a nice place to take a walk as well. It maybe chaotic on weekends; overall experience was awesome.
