Nestled among beautiful gardens, Bangalore Palace often serves as a venue for concerts of world-renowned artists. The exterior, which features elaborate wood carvings and many turrets, is reminiscent of the Tudor-style architecture, while the interior boasts Victorian, Neoclassical, and Edwardian furniture. The 19th-century palace includes 35 rooms decorated floral motifs, cornices, ceiling paintings, and stained glass. The palace complex also features an amusement park. • This is not a typical palace you would expect to see on india. You would think from the outside you were in the UK. First take audio guide, there is no photography allowed which is ludicrous...

  • Beautiful picturesque place. A must visit place for history lovers and people who love ancient paintings. The palace is well maintained and the architecture and design blows your mind. Would suggest people to visit it during weekdays as weekend time it's a total rush and you may not be able to peacefully enjoy the tour. Entry is allowed only after purchase of ticket. The ticket cost 240 rupees each and if you are using mobile camera additional 300rs has to be paid. There is a audio guide available(mobile phone and a earphone supplied) which can be played at marked spots to understand the significance of that spot. The palace has many beautiful and vivid locations for capturing. There is a garden outside the palace through which you can roam around and click pictures. Overall the ticket price can be reduced a bit otherwise its a beautiful place to spend a day.

The place is well maintained and there is enough parking space. Most important thing carry your any of the identity proof with you because if you don’t have they will take 2000 Rs./- as a refundable deposit and at the end they will refund you. There people are supportive they told as I don’t carry as Identity proof and also I don’t have cash with me. So, I have given online to them and after that they provide me cash for that audio guide . Very helpful people are there . The palace has many beautiful and vivid locations for capturing. Overall the ticket price is really high it can be reduced a bit otherwise its a beautiful place to spend a day. Try to visit on weekdays because weekends are crowded must visit in Bangalore.

  • A place of history, magnificence, splendour, ambiance. It's well connected with road, there is parking facility available. Tickets for entry. One can see vintage paintings, antiques, relieve the history. The moment of time just stops over there. A beautiful garden adds up to the vibes. The insides are just as awesome. I love to visit this place and recommend everyone to pay a visit at least once.
