  • What a fabulous experience of visiting this place! When i first heard about this place, i was eager to visit it soon as i had never heard of a museum solely dedicated to music. And what an amazing experience it was! Loved everything about this whole place but the best experiences for me were the movie and music shows, the instruments gallery, the recording studio, the sound garden and the birdsong exhibition. The sound garden is a very unique experience. Being a bird lover too, the birdsong exhibition was an icing on the cake. Thank you for giving all music lovers such a beautiful experience and helping us learn and explore more about music

  • Very peaceful and interesting gallery that takes you through the history of Music.. There are 2 mini theatres with short films about music. They also have a lot of interactive sections to learn about different types of music. There is a small studio set where you can record your own song and listen to it. Entry fee is 250 rs and not very crowded even on weekends. You can spend 1.5-2hrs here easily. Good place for photography also.
  • One of the best museums I've ever visited. The museum is very interactive, and is a treat to your ears. You can play various instruments both physically and digitally, create music of your own and immerse yourself in the music of legends. The exhibits are fantastic, and keeps both the beginner and the connoisseur engaged. The entry price might seem steep, but is worth every penny. The museum has 2 floors and they guide you to start from the third floor, which is huge. It took us around 2 hours for the third floor itself. Highly recommended .
  • First of all, I'm here as a tourist and I have no musical training which is totally fine to enjoy an attraction like this! At the front, you get to use your hands to try out the musical installments designed on the basis of sound resonance. Once inside, you need to take the lift to the 3rd floor and work your way down to the ground floor. Expect to spend at least 45mins and more if you really take in the exhibitions fully - which you should, to understand the rich history of music in India. Very well curated I must say, with clear info plaques, inspiring quotes from famous figures and interactive displays. The only thing I consciously did not attempt to do was to put on the headsets, otherwise, I'd imagine that would really enhance the India music experience! The gift shop was probably the only part that didn't keep up with the rest of the venue.
