Create an itinerary including Calangute Beach
At Calangute Beach, rest on a warm, sandy shoreline which shelters a small fishing town. Besides swimming, you can surf, paraglide, or parasail. Well-connected routes enable tourists to reach the beach either via taxi, state buses, or train. Explore the tropical ambience by hiring two-wheelers or rickshaws. If art and culture interest you, visit the local galleries where you can learn about this region's history and religious heritage. Be aware that during monsoon season (June through September), swimming is prohibited. Plan your Calangute Beach visit and explore what else you can see and do in Goa using our Goa tour app.

  • Simply. do not go to Calangute. Walking about is dangerous with tarffic, potholes and no pavements. A disappointing visit.

  • If you are a fan of hustle and bustle on a beach this is the place for you…located in North Goa …walk from parking to beach is all shops ..with lot of tattoo artists luring you…great vibes …The waves in the beach are strong and ferocious but not too deep so can enjoy a dip but there are dangerous places which is visible and guarded by coastguards…had an amazing sunset view on the beach …I would say a must visit for a beautiful sunset view ..checkout my video for a sample glimpse
  • Superb beach , Full of crowd . Lot of shacks available at this place . You can see parasailing 🪂 at this beach .we can See many foreigners. Sunset 🌅 is amazing 🤩. if you are near to beach , it’s better to visit in evening and nights .
  • With my buddies, I had been here numerous times. When I listen to the sound of waves, I feel calm. I also had a great time dancing to the music's beat. I've also seen the sunrise; it's lovely.
  • One of the most popular and visiting beach after Baga beach. Very crowded area with full of shopping markets. Maximum Indian crowds here . The sound of water waves is amazing. Parking is paid 50 Rs
  • I had visited this place many times with my friends. I am at peace when I listen the sound of waves 🌊 . And I enjoyed a lot while dancing to the rhythm of the 🎶 music. I had also seen sunrise 🌅, it's beautiful.
