Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh

Lovely place for those who are finding peace and natural views, you can sit before the lake and can enjoy your moments. It becomes more beautiful at the time of sunrise and sunset. There is a banyan tree where you can relax and on the right side of it , upstairs you can have the view of golf ground. Further there is a way to forest walk and can find some seasonal lotus. You can have food here but it is not so worthy. People love to jog, walk and boating here.

Good place to have fun with family or friends. Scenery is beautiful. You can enjoy there sitting for hours if you love solitude. Keep these things aside now people who give boats here have high rates according to this place. If these were less expensive it would be perfect. Also best for morning and evening walk.

Lake is very beautiful and clean. Around 2km is the length of Lake and road is there along with it which people use to take stroll and jogging. Parks are also there where people do yoga, meditation and exercise. You can also see people playing guitar. On one side there are restaurant, game and playing area. Boating is also available till before sunset. This place is worth visiting multiple times, be it kids, young or old person.

My favourite place in Chandigarh. Very suitable place for morning persons. You can jog along the lake side path , you can meditate as well. It is very peaceful during early morning. Watching the sunrise at this lake is a must. Avoid visiting on Sunny Days.
