Tradition has it that Krishna's grandson built the temple, while archeologists have dated the main shrine as far back as 2,000 to 2,200 years ago. Greatly expanded in the ornamental Chalukya style in the 15th or 16th century CE, the temple features five stories and rests on 72 tall pillars. The 78.3 m (256.9 ft) spire dominates the surrounding urban area, and photographs particularly well from the main street of the adjoining market. Religious place , DHAM 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Visited in the morning and had darshan very well. Thanks to the hotel who arranged us a pujari , who took care of us well .

This is one of the Chaar-Dhams and hence important place to visit in Gujarat. They do not allow any bags and mobiles inside so you will have to leave yours in locker or elsewhere. No clicks inside..... more

A very spiritual place. You will feel the presence of Dwarkadhish (Lord Krishna) if you have faith and trust in him. The temple is very old but the structure of the temple is very good. If you visit during festival time then you will feel more traffic. But, it's worth visiting. In photos you will see atmosphere and dhvajarohan. Jay Dwarkadhish 🙏🏽🕉️🚩

The place has an amazing attraction and vibe. The entire stretch from the car parking to the temple has an old world charm. Although the temple was renovated after the Bhuj earthquake, few stones from old temple reminds one of its 5000 year old history. One can feel the presence of Lord Krishna there. A must visit for all devotees and even for those looking for some peace..

Worth its long tradition and fame. Beware of the long queue and crowd. Don't pay anything to the priests, who would want to pay for anything and everything. Overall temple is very good, although you will not be able to spend any time inside the main temple. But try to grab as much memories as possible

So positive and peaceful vibe one will get. It’s too crowded as well. Be careful of priests who asks for donations and all. This temple also situated near to beach. Evening time is so amazing. Felt blessed and lucky to complete all of char Dham.

Definition of our culture and majesty. Such detailed architecture and gardens well maintained. The laser show was stunning 😍 With a view of the serene ocean and the awe instilling temple one can forget oneself and truly attain inner peace.
