Mangeshi Temple, Goa

Very beautiful temple. Must visit in Goa. Roads are good and large car parking space. I found the shops near the temple is quite cheap and better than other street shops near goa beaches. Few tips # crowd picks up after 11am. # traditional dress for ladies and gentlemen, is a must for entry. # visit Mahalasa temple, very near to here. # 2 wheeler trip will be tiring and it is too hot in the day time. # best for shopping.

Beautiful temple to visit if you’re in Goa. Clean and well maintained. The architecture is great. The temple was open at 1pm although one if the guides mentioned it closes at 12 pm. Traditional Clothes — Semi traditional was accepted. I’ve seen many people wearing sleeveless,so don’t think that’s an objection.

Situated close to Ponda city and is one of the few favourites of the locals. Lots of tourists also visit this place. easily accessible by road. The temple is huge and has a small stepped well/ pond too. Traffic might be slightly tight and may have to park slightly short.

Situated and surrounded by lush green jungle, the route is also scenic. Visited this temple in diwali 22 October. Beautiful temple & surroundings. It's well maintained by staff. During this time it was less crowded. Note - If you're traveling from North Goa, Use car as it's long from North Goa & on bike it's too much of a tiring journey.

Very beautiful and peaceful temple at Mangeshi village of Goa. You maybe knowing that Mangeshi village is associated with our Indian legendary and great singer Lataji. Temple is very nice and well maintained. Have good parking facility nearby and from parking have a road to the temple with some food shops and shops for traditional articles and cloths on the both sides of the road. This is the temple of Lord Mangeshi, that is the name by which Lord Shiva is recognised here.
