Visit the majestic marble temple of Birla Mandir, one of the many eponymous temples built by the Birla family all over India. Constructed in 1976, the temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara, an incarnation of Vishnu. Admire the imposing building, supposedly made out of 2,000 tons of pure white marble, and view the idols of many deities, including a 3 m (11 ft) tall image of Venkateshwara. Climb up to the hilltop temple to enjoy panoramic views of Hyderabad and its surroundings. Make Birla Mandir a centerpiece of your Hyderabad vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Hyderabad road trip tool.

  • The most beautiful and well maintained and most cleanest temple. It is on the top of the hill. Need to use approx 200 stairs. But steps are not so big. Convenient for old age people also. There is lift also. Cameras not allowed inside. View from temple are amazing especially in rainy season.
  • One of the best temple in Hyderabad, it is lord balaji temple, It is on top of hill, so you need to take approximately 200stairs, But steps are not so big so it’s convenient for old age people, There is a lift. And Camera's and phones are not allowed inside the temple you should keep in lockers or in your vehicles. Temple clean and well maintained, the view from the temple so beautiful, vehicle parking also available, definitely come and visit once.

I visited first the Birla temple of God Venkateshwar. The temple was just Wow...😍✨it is fully build with marbles i have got to hear that it Is made with so much of tons of marble. It has very peace full surrounding and from the top of the temple we will get to see the lake and In that the statue very Good. loved it.
  • It is on the top of the hill. The most beautiful and well maintained and most cleanest temple. Wonderful structure and impressive architecture with peaceful atmosphere. Also attracted by the ambiance of the modernity light display at night. A must visit place for devotees and tourists all over India or visitors from outside India.
  • This place is well built, completely with marbles. Good place to visit. Hyd is hotter, they should have done some sunshade for devotees. It doesn't feel like a real temple visit. It's another tourist spot.
