Admire the millennium-old details of Chilkur Balaji Temple, a place of worship devoted to Venkateswara, a form of the Hindu god Vishnu. Also known as the "visa god," Venkateswara draws devotees praying to gain a visa to visit the United States. If their initial 11 rounds around the temple yield success, worshippers must perform another 97 circumambulations in thanks. The temple represents one of the few in the country that doesn't accept any money from devotees, and has no privileged access. • Best time to visit 7am for less crowd and not much Que. Only outside temple 1 and 11 rounds allowed. 1 -11 and 11 - 108 as some renovation inaide temple is done and also due to covid restrictions to avoid crowd inside temple. Sufficient car parking inside temple area as well as outside some 200mts away.
  • Great pleasure to visit Balaji temple, plenty of parking available, don't fall prey to Coconut sellers they will b back of us and Ask us to drop our slippers and ask us to buy coconut for huge price ..Due to COVID crisis rounds are not allowed around the temple, Darshan is quite easy and q line is not much of rush..! You get peace and beautiful atmosphere and realise that this a good place for spiritual activities, there were good cafeteria were Indian food (meals)are available for reasonable prices, we can find many shops after darshan like key chains, dolls, hand threads, fancy items, eatable items prasadam items many more with very reasonable prices! Must visit this place ....
  • One of the famous temples in Telangana state. Most powerful god people believe wishes will be fulfilled by lord Srinivas.🔱🕉️⚜️ Avoid visiting Saturday too crowded. To get peaceful darshan visit weekdays just visit temples with friends and family members 😍 Timings (Mon-Sun) 6 am–1 pm 4pm–6 pm
  • Wow it was a Great Experience many People come to visit this Place from different Areas... Chilkur Balaji Temple is situated in the picturesque village of Chilkur, about 30 kilometres away from Hyderabad. It is also called the VISA Temple...
  • A nice place to get out of the city atmosphere. Weekday rush is quite low. Ample of parking space for cars. Shop keepers help you in parking vehicle. Later, we end up buying coconuts/flowers with them. Post covid, there is no pradakshina concept inside the premises. So, I’m not sure how the visa god takes 11/108 pradakshinas now! What we heard was, we need to it around the temple for a big pradakshina. That would be almost 4 old pradakshinas for one. As TTD didn’t takeover, there is no concept of hundi but a person collects money for temple betterment. Manjira water supply to city starts from here. That’s a scenic view to look out for!
