Escape from the hot, busy city and step into KBR National Park, a hidden jungle in the heart of the concrete. Spanning nearly 160 ha (400 ac) and displaying beautiful greenery with over 600 species of plants and trees, the park also offers the chance to see flashy peacocks roaming around freely, reptiles soaking up the sun, and colorful butterflies. The well-maintained pathways ensure a pleasant walk, while many joggers consider this park an ideal spot to exercise, as the dense forest maintains a slightly cooler temperature than outside. • Excellent place for evening walk. Saw a lot of peacocks and other birds. Rain started. Then it occurred to me that a few shaded resting places could have worked in this place.

  • The Entrance ticket 🎫 cost 40rs per one person, and there are subscriptions for monthly, yearly for daily joggers and walkers you can choose according to it. Good place for joggers and walkers, here we can breathe fresh oxygen and you can see lot of peacocks 🦚 roaming around us, as well as nice place for kids to enjoy and explore nature closely. The track was about 4km with lot of benches in between to rest and relax. There is even a open gym where u can stretch a bit and exercise. Drinking water and toilets facilities are available inside park. It is truly a jungle type feeling in metro- politian city. It also has track outside with out entrance fee so you can go for walking. Here people can’t carry food .
  • Want to be close to nature.. this is your place. It's just so peaceful.. we went on a rainy day and it was so green and beautiful. You can just relax and listen to the birds sound.. nice jogging track and open gym. Full of peacocks. You would definitely see a few of them.
  • The park extends over a large area. However the walking tracks are just around the main gate which is the only entrance to the park. The area is relatively quiet despite the busy traffic in the surroundings. Clean and well maintained. You can see peacocks from very near as they roam around near the walking tracks. However you need to visit either early morning or between 4-5:30 pm. The park is a good place for a walk or jogging. There is an open gymnasium too which is functional. Amazing place to visit especially if you go with kids.
  • This should be renamed peacock park as this is the main attraction here. These beautiful creatures are abundant and see less and less shy about coming close to humans. Outside the park there is a big jogging ring that seems to be open to the public, however there are very, very, very few entrance points and you may walk 1km or so before you can find one. The path is packed dirt, and is leveled and safe for the most part. Just be on the lookout of dog feces which are all over the track. It would be nice if they created a few RO water stations throughout the track for the community. There is really only one entrance point, that's a bit negative for such a huge park. The gardens are constantly watered by workers and well kept. The entrance fee is nominal ( around ₹50 ) and this park is absolutely giant. You could easily spent a couple hours in here. Worth visiting to take a break from the concrete jungle.
  • The park has pleasant vibes, plus the site of beautiful peacocks makes the park even more serene. Other than peacocks you can spot a few more birds and other animals. The open gym is well maintained, if only there could be child's park here it would be a complete 5 🌟 .
