Naggar Castle
Take a trip up to Naggar Castle to admire the view from the grounds of this historical building. Built as a state headquarters in 1460 CE, the stone and wood structure maintains a charming rusticity, blending in well with the surrounding landscape. Now operating as a heritage hotel, the castle benefits from an onsite art gallery, rooms with extensive views of the surrounding landscape, and a fine dining restaurant, offering similarly notable panoramas of the mountainous environs. Before you head to Naggar, plan trip itinerary details with our user-friendly Naggar day trip planner, to make sure you see all that Naggar has to offer, including Naggar Castle.

Definitely worth visiting, and not just for visiting an hour or two, it'll be more worth to stay a night here. We were a group of 5 and booked the King Suite. The decision of staying a night here was totally worth it. It's a great place to click some beautiful pictures. The view from the king suite is simply amazing! The suite is huge. You can book it from the Himachal tourism website. They have a valley facing restaurant too within the palace. Believe me you won't regret staying here, if you prefer a day just chilling with friends and not visiting around much.

Beautiful ancient castle, now turned into a hotel. It's taken over by Himachal Pradesh tourism. Awesome location Breathtaking views Nice restaurant overlooking the river Amazing architecture with stones and wood, where there's NO bonding material used neither any metal nails used to make the castle. There's a beautiful museum too depicting village life. A must visit place

Good place. Nice and quiet. Lovely view. A lot of Bollywood movies were shot here. There is no museum in there. Must eat at the restaurant inside the castle. Grab a seat in the balcony, relax and enjoy the nature while having your lunch. Food a little expensive but half plates are enough for two persons. Enjoy!!!

The place is good. Quite. And wholesome. The people around are not noisy at all. It is a place where one can relax without anything worrying them. The cafe on the first floor of the castle is worth visiting as they keep the pace slow as one can eat while enjoying the view. The food is really amazing. It is a must visit place for eating with friends and family.
