  • Amazing mesmerizing place. Must visit to be a part of great history. Place where Samarth Ramdas Swami wrote dasbodh. The place is cool, calm, and serene. Visit to feel the peace. It's recommended to tell children to feel the disconnect from the material world. They will learn it here. Nicely maintained. Nice amenities. One can have lunch, tea, etc at the bottom of the steps. Only 35 odd steps. Senior citizens can also climb up. Highly recommended.
  • Divine place to do meditation and feel calmness even beside a giant waterfall. Blessed by Shri Ramdas Swami this place is truly divine. Make sure you keep it that way, by not throwing garbage.
  • Hindu sacred place. Ramdas Swami, a maharashtrian saint wrote dasbodh spiritual book at this place. It is carved out in stone in a mountain. There is a waterfall just besides it. It is very well maintained by the trust.
  • Visited this place from Pune byroadin my car. Took tamhini ghat - mahad route while going. This is a longer route. 4.5-5 hrs if you don't take breaks. Roads are in good shape at most of the places except few patches on Mumbai Goa highway. It was raining, nature at it's best! Amazing waterfalls throughout in tamhini ghat. Lush green landscape, clouds kissing your face! Shivtharghal has awe inspiring waterfall. While returning to Pune, took bhor route via varand ghat. The road is ok, dangerous at some places due to landslides. Travel in daytime only if you are going via varand ghat. It as well has many waterfalls, scenic landscapes on the way.
  • This is amazing place with great scenery, samarth ramdas swami has spent 12 years of his life at this place and wrote the novel dasbodh here. You will get ‘khichadi’ as prasad if you arrive between 12PM to 1:30PM. There are two ways to be here one from varandha ghat which is shortest but scary due to zigzag turning and narrow roads and other one from mahad.
