Muregar Falls, Sirsi

Muregar falls is one of tourist spot around sirsi, it is approx 30km from sirsi town. It is also called as teppige falls. Actually beauty of falls can be seen in during the moonsoon and post moonsoon. Govt bus facilities is available till the muregar village from village you need to hike for 3km to reach the falls. There is no shop or washroom available near the falls so plan accordingly. Note: getting down to falls during the moonsoon and post moonsoon is risky not advisable so just see the beauty falls from the view point.

Very nice place, you can enjoy water fall and one big rock was there in which hindu god is carved so you can come here as a religious beliefs also. Peaceful place to enjoy time with family and friends.

Muregar Falls is a clean and beautiful place. There are sharp stones in the water. Please do not attempt to swim in the waterfall. Please Maintain cleanliness near the waterfall. The road is not good .

Very nice place to enjoy nature. Road is extremely poor maintained. Almost next to impossible to go during rainy season. The place is full of rocks and ideally suited if you love adventures. Extremely dangerous during rainy season though due to slippery rocks. Best suited for a one day trip during winter or in summer.

One of the attractions for tourists in the Sirsi area, Muregar Falls is located approximately 30 kilometres away from the city proper. There is also a name for it that is teppige falls. Near the falls, there is neither a store nor a restroom, so be sure to make appropriate preparations. Note that going down to the falls during the moonsoon or after it is extremely dangerous and not advisable; instead, you should just admire their beauty from the view point.
