Discovery Shopping Mall, Kuta

An underrated mall in Kuta that has a beach access inside it, so lovely❤ The sunset view is beautiful. This mall was kinda quiet in the pandemic era, before the pandemic they used to have acoustic music performance on the weekend, but now I don't think they still have it. But I heard that Discovery Shopping Mall has gained more and more visitors these days, which makes me happy! Will visit again asap❣️

There are lots of construction outside the mall. Almost half of the shops are closed/unoccupied. Had eaten once but all the choices are purely fast foods. At the last floor there could have been a restaurant where to eat real foods but sadly they are closed. 3 stars though for quite good location.

Has Sogo department store downstairs and half of the mall seems to have some activity, people and shops but the other half is dead. I hope it returns with people and shops, it has lots of potential. Was nice to walk through the mall and then onto the beach which it backs onto. A lovely spot for a walk and to hang. We enjoyed the food there, upstairs on the top level there was Satos Takoyaki and a Pempek Pelambang stalls which had great friendly service and tasty food.

I have too much memory in this mall, all are pretty happy memory, but since Kuta has Beachwalk, this mall had no chance to survive, its sad.

Visited here on Saturday, most of the shops are closed and mall is almost empty. Location of the mall great though, I would recommend this for food but for shopping it’s not ready yet. Other side facing kuta beach with beautiful view. I spent evening in Vilo, great place for coffee and snacks. There are small shops like ice cream, juice etc, so it’s a perfect place to enjoy sunset at kuta beach. Would recommend to enjoy food and sunset, but for shopping not yet.
