Geger Beach Nusa Dua Bali, Nusa Dua

Located near The Mulia Resort Nusa Dua. It’s nice for swimming. Or just sitting at the beach. You have to pay 3000 thousand rupiahs for entrance fee.

This is one of the nice beaches South of Bali, and one of the few were the water is calm enough to swim. It doesn't get very busy and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. There is a busy strip of the beach close to were the resorts are, but if you walk up the beach, there are quieter areas.

It's good for relax, many cafe, shops & nice restaurants here. You can find here everything what you need, because here is the centre of shopping life like in outlets in Europe. Beach is not bad, whater is not so clean sometimes. But I see the same everywhere in Bali beaches in the north and in the south, except Nyang Nyang beach may be in the south part of the island.

Nice and clean beach with so many cute pets here. Good place for spending time to relax and get some tans.

A nice beach popular with mostly Western tourists. Much more relaxed than the bigger beaches such as Kuta or Seminyak. The waves break far out over a line of reefs so the water is friendly, but only in low tide. For the first impression coming in, there's only a couple of restaurants off of the junction from the access road, so minimum number of locals peddling massages and water sports services, even though both are available. We paid Rp6k coming in for access to the beach road, then rented a couple of nice padded lounge chairs under an umbrella for Rp100k. When we first arrived about 130pm, the mid tide still had some force and the water level high enough to create depth not far out, so was a bit rough... By about 3pm the water has receded enough that even beyond the anchored boats the level is only waist high. Perfect for beginner swimmers or those testing out new snorkeling gear, as we were, but wasn't much to see beyond some small tropical fishes. As the water calmed in the afternoon it became very clear, and plenty of people ventured out on rented canoes and paddle boards. Note that the beach is a mix of sand, pebbles, rocks, and underwater vegetation. (i.e. Not all fine sand everywhere)... by 4pm, the water close to shore is literally a kiddie pool. The small beach restaurant was perfectly adequate with the standard mix of affordable local and western offerings. We especially enjoyed the fried noodles and chicken satays (2 orders each, grilled shrimps, couple of beers all for about Rp350k). After the water activities you can rinse off in the semi out doors showers free of charge for restaurant goers. All in all, highly recommended if you're looking for a leisurely afternoon. P.S.: 1. Our point of comparison was Kuta, where we are staying at the Sheraton Beachwalk. Taxi cost from Kuta was Rp150k including toll. 2. Some have complained about Mulia taking over southern part of Geger Beach, but it didn't really matter much to us.
