Jogokariyan Mosque, Yogyakarta

I have been wishing to visit this place because of its outstanding program: The mosque balance must be zero (0IDR) EVERY MONTH! This mosque has so many charity programs which are really helpful to its surrounding. No wonder because the money 100% goes to humanity, specifically charity stuff. I cannot mention it here because you have to google it yourself to see the programs which Masjid Jogokariyan held this entire time. At my first visit, at around 11.30, on Friday 23th, this September 2022-- this mosque was full of people, so crowded. I was so impressed by seeing the people arround enthusiastically come to do the Jumat prayer so early. Even after the jumat prayer, they did funeral prayer. Everything is great and hopefully i can make an effort to visit this place in the near future ✨

I came with my wife to this mosque to see firsthand and feel how exciting and solemn it is to worship and have a religious tour at the Jogokariyan mosque.

Not too big mosque but quite busy as many people seem to make it as a tourist destination. A comfortable place for praying despite the hectic situation outside the mosque. Provides nice and clean toilets.

A beautiful and warm place to visit for food-hunting, especially for you guys who are muslims. A recommended place to go with friends. However, I think the food stall should be opened longer. Since most of it are closed already at 8 PM.

Jogokariyan Mosque is one of the historic mosques located in Jogokariyan Village or precisely on Jogokariyan Street, Mantrijeron, Yogyakarta. Jogokariyan Mosque is one of the mosques in Yogyakarta which is famous for its good mosque program and management. The number of worshipers and visitors who come to this place is even able to compete with the famous tourist attractions of Jogja, especially during the month of Ramadan. It called Kampung Ramadan Jogokariyan or KRJ. Many people cpme here to hunting foods and beverages. There are many food courts during Ramadan. We can do iftar together in here. Its just like a festival.
