Amazing location offering stunning scenery at the foot of Slievemore. You can see Keel beach from the desested village. There is almost 100 old dwelling many of them are ruins and almost unreasonable as old houses. But some have most on the shone work in tact. It is well worth a look and can offer some insight to what life and living conditions could have been like many many years ago. The area surrounding the desested village is excellent for hiking and exploring.

Even on a drizzly day, it was amazing to experience this incredible village. The surrounding landscape is beautiful and exploring the deserted cottages dotted throughout is like walking through history.

What the name says. The ruins of an old village with a beautiful view. Especiallly at sunset when you are alone and it feels a bit haunted ;-)
