  • We rented bikes from Ballina Bike Hire and stopped here on the way to Killala. Beautiful spot! Make sure to look for the Moyne Abbey too, it is a little further down the road!

  • A beautiful well reserved building. I have been here a few times and loved it each time. Great views from the hill of the friary and the River Moy in the background. Beautiful place to visit if you are in the area.
  • Beautiful Friary overlooking the loch. Not much parking space but probably doesn't get much traffic anyway. Building is still well preserved and it's great to be able to access the second floor
  • Nice secluded spot! You can walk around and 'feel' the past. From the height of the doorways, people weren't as tall as today. Watch your head 😉, especially on the upper level. Definitely suggest to visit id you are into old stones and ruins!
  • One of the most beautiful places I've been to. So peaceful and so much to explore. You have to look closely for imagery in the stonework, and you can go up to the second floor, it's beautifully preserved
  • Just a fantastic well preserved building. With some stunning views of the river moy
