  • Absolutely amazing garden, highly recommend a visit. Carl is a fantastic guide and gives a brilliant insight into how this garden evolved. A great experience even on a miserable day. Exceptional...

  • This garden is an absolute must to visit. A privilege to be allowed in this very personal space. Amazing stories about all the work it has taken to create it. You really will not be disappointed

  • Passed this little gem many times over the years and always admired it from the roadside. Only realised when I took the tour that it stretches far beyond what is visible from the bridge and includes wildflower meadow, fern collections, cottage gardens, hydrangea beds, sculpture and loads of natives trees and plants. Carl is a friendly informative guide, able to give both general info about the garden and tips about the plants, while also diving deeper into the more technical stuff for the more advanced questions. Can't wait to check it out again in the Spring
  • You'll see a variety of breathtaking and intimate landscapes that flow from one to another and take full advantage of the surrounding starkness of the Burren. Breathtaking views, cut through the hawthorne, and peaceful nooks by the water's edge. We visited on a bright sunny day and our tour included explanations of the light the gardener's created within the landscape. Carl has true joy and passion for the garden and delights in sharing his vast knowledge with visitors. This was a highlight of our week!
  • Passionate host for their private garden. Had extensive tour that was very generous and surprising as he uncovered ever extending sections of his garden (project). Respectful to the surrounding area features with gentle blending of the environment. You will need to book in advance.
  • This place is unbelievably amazing, we could have spent all day walking around. The fact that this is all being done by one man, with a little help from dad is truly astonishing
  • What a gem of a garden and the owner is the guide and clearly loves showing folks around. Must book in advance and only 10 in each group. Amazing planting all on a limestone pavement.
