Explore Bantry House & Garden, a scenic 18th-century estate that has been in the same family since it was purchased in 1750 by Councilor Richard White. More than 250 years later, the White family still owns, operates, and lives on the property. Visit the historical grounds, which have been open to tourists since 1946. Walk the lush gardens, examine the stables, and view the Queen Anne-style architecture of the building, which was built in 1700. Purchase a refreshment in the Councilor tea room, or stay at the bed-and-breakfast that has been welcoming guests since 1990. Stayed at the B&B for a family occasion. The whole experience was absolutely incredible. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotless- each one had an amazing view to wake up to. Having access to the library in the evenings was an additional treat. The breakfast was fabulous, and the grounds were so relaxing and peaceful to walk around. I would highly recommend!!

Visited here for a family wedding, absolutely beautiful house and gardens, the hosts were wonderful, extremely helpful but utterly unobtrusive. We were supposed to get lashing rain but at the last minute the sun came out so they moved everything into the garden with no hassle and we were able to enjoy the amazing views during the ceremony. Would highly recommend.

Well worth a visit. We visited on a beautiful sunny July day and spent a few hours exploring the gardens and outdoors before doing the guided tour of the house, which was very informative and interesting. We had a beautiful roll and tea from the cafe. The views are absolutely amazing

Beautiful house and stunning garden. Information leaflets available in all rooms to self guide. Tea rooms with cakes and drinks was a welcome break. Really enjoyed the morning.

Place was beautiful, the views from Gardens and the Garden itself if phenomenal. House is full of history and worth a look. Bought a book on a way out. Nice read about how it used to be.
